The aerospace industry continues to push the boundaries of performance, efficiency and sustainability, driving the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies across the entire supply chain. Powder Metallurgy (PM) and Additive Manufacturing (AM) are increasingly enabling the production of lighter, stronger and more complex components for aircraft, spacecraft and propulsion systems.
To address these developments, EPMA is pleased to announce the Aerospace Application Seminar 2027, taking place on 11–12 May 2027 in the Rome area, Italy, and hosted by RINA Consulting.
The seminar will bring together experts from industry, research organisations and end-users to present the latest developments in aerospace manufacturing. Topics will include advanced materials, additive manufacturing, Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP), Metal Injection Moulding (MIM), hard materials, design optimisation, qualification strategies and industrial case studies. Particular attention will be given to the challenges of certification, industrialisation and the future role of advanced manufacturing technologies in aerospace applications.
The programme will combine technical presentations, networking opportunities and a site visit of RINA premises in Castel Romano hosted by RINA, providing participants with direct insight into industrial activities and the latest developments in aerospace engineering.
The seminar aims to provide a unique platform for discussion and knowledge exchange between the Powder Metallurgy and aerospace communities, addressing both current challenges and future opportunities.
