City of Metz, FRANCE
Ideally located 50 minutes from Luxemburg, 1h from Saarbrücken , 1h25 minutes from Paris (by TGV train) and 2h35 minutes from Brussels, the city of Metz offers a rich cultural and event programme throughout the year. Visit Metz’s unmissable sites such as the impressive gothic St-Etienne cathedral, the Imperial District and the train station elected as the most beautiful station in France many times. The city offers also a lot of natural spaces such as parks and gardens, the Mont St Quentin, the botanical garden and it is crossed by an interesting & historic cycling lane called “la Voie Bleue” which runs along the Moselle river and lasts 700km between the city of Lyon and the border of Luxemburg.
