The focus of interest in the Hot Isostatic Pressing seminar will be mainly on near net shape forming of widely used components such as tool steel parts, wear parts by HIPing with respect to conventional methods of casting and forging. Theoretical background of diffusion bonding will be investigated together with nice case studies from the industry.
