Air
At only 20 kilometers from the city centre, Donostia-San Sebastián Airport has connections to the major Spanish cities: Madrid and Barcelona.
Bilbao Airport, with connections to all of Europe, is 105km from the city, and Biarritz Airport, served by French and international low-cost companies, 47km.

From San Sebastián Airport (EAS), a bus shuttle “EKIALDEBUS – E21” leaves every hour to San Sebastián city centre and operates daily. More information can be found here.

Bilbao Airport (BIO) is 105 km away from San Sebastián and provides international flights.
The easiest way to get to Donostia-San Sebastián from Bilbao Airport is by bus. There is a direct bus service departing from the airport to the downtown area in 75 minutes (to train and bus stations). The bus stop is right outside the airport on your right and the bus company operator is PESA. There is one departure per hour from 7:45 to 23:45 and single tickets cost €17.10. A few flights arrive at Biarritz airport (BIQ), most of them from Paris airports (CDG and ORL). A bus connects Biarritz Airport to Donostia-San Sebastián city centre (3 busses per day). Timetables and prices can be found here.

Train
The main Renfe station in San Sebastián is located near the old city centre: “Estación de Tren de San Sebastián-Donostia”. Several long and short distance trains depart here. Long distance Alvia trains run to and from Madrid-Chamartin and Barcelona Sants, both journeys are about 5h 30m.

Car
Getting to Donostia – San Sebastián by car is extremely easy. The city is connected to the rest of Spain and France by the N-1 (the national highway connecting Madrid to Irun), the AP-8 (Bilbao-Irun) and A-63 (Paris-Irun) motorways and the A-15 highway (Pamplona-San Sebastián).
