The Powder Injection Moulding (PIM) Short Course, organised by the EPMA, in conjunction with the EuroMIM group, took place in Barcelona, Spain, 15 – 17 April 2015, and attracted an attendance of some 50 participants.
On Wednesday 15 April there was an opportunity to visit the PIM laboratory at the University of Castilla-La Mancha and inspect the research which Dr. Gemma Herranz and her team carryied out.
The two-day course benefitted from the expertise of speakers drawn from both academia and industry. Topics covered included:

At the end of the first day, delegates and speakers were able to discuss different aspects of PIM while enjoying the magnificent menu at the restaurant Todo Pasa, only a few steps from the hotel.
